The Federal Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) requires the Office of Thrift Supervision to evaluate our performance in helping to meet the credit needs of this community, and to take this evaluation into account when deciding on certain applications submitted by us. Your involvement is encouraged.

COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT ACT STATEMENT

ASSESSMENT AREA

The Equitable Savings and Loan Company, Cadiz, Ohio, for purposes of lending under this act defines our assessment area as the County of Harrison, in the State of Ohio. A map of Harrison County is in the Community Reinvestment Act public file and is available to the public.

3.) Residential Construction Loans
4.) Open End Advances for Home Improvement and Other Purposes
5.) Student Loans
6.) Loans on Deposits

It has been the policy of this Institution to make real estate loans throughout our local community.

We maintain consistent contact with real estate agents and developers in order to help determine the credit needs of our local community. We are a member of the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce and Cadiz Business Association. We are active in local organizations such as Lions Club, Rotary Club, The Clark Cable Foundation Inc., Harrison Community Hospital Board, etc. We cooperate to the best of our ability with community groups, local government, and housing development agencies. This Company supports the Metro Housing Authority in their efforts to obtain housing for the elderly.

This Company has refinanced mortgages for numerous customers having loans with The Farmers Home Administration in order to help their credit needs and to cooperate with the F.H.A.

This Company does not discriminate on a precluded basis and have trained our staff and have prepared loan underwriting standards to this effect.

The Equitable Savings and Loan Company has one office and no branch offices. This Company is located at 114 South Main Street, Cadiz, Ohio and, is available to the public six days a week, Monday through Saturday, for a total of thirty two hours a week. The office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Wednesday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
